Crystal Lake Consulting serves all over Raleigh, NC and across the nation with lake, pond, and stormwater management solutions.  We are veteran owned and operated     with 21 years of experience.

Capt’n Chuck served 13 years as an Airborne Ranger before being wounded in combat after which he was medically discharged from the U.S. Army and awarded a Purple Heart. Upon separation from active duty, Chuck went back to his first love -  fishing. From this, he built a career working with fisheries, ponds, and stormwater management. Chuck spent the following 16 years assisting other pond management companies with correctly assessing and correcting aquatic eco-systems to optimally support fisheries management.

 

Ensuring that stormwater ponds, lakes, & devices (BMP/SCM) are functioning according to O&M’s and prescribed specifications, so that each device is operating as designed to process predetermined volumes & velocities of stormwater runoff is Capt’n Chucks passion. Now in our 21st year we strive to share the knowledge and experience nationwide to help preserve our resources and handle all stormwater issues, no matter the scope of work.

 

Capt’n Chuck holds a B.S. in Fisheries Biology from the University of Florida.  Chuck is a Certified Storm Water Specialist through North Carolina State University. He holds a Black Belt certification through the Lean Six Sigma Institute for Consulting. He’s a SePRO Preferred Aquatic Applicator, Factory Certified Contech Storm Water Maintenance Provider. He is also confined Space/Underground Storm Water Certified, a BASS Lifetime Member & Fisheries Expert, and Dive Master certified for underwater work on ponds & lakes. He also holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captains License.
